I'd actually rather use ControlPlane than HardwareGrowler+Growl, but ControlPlane doesn't (AFAIK) have a mount/unmount "evidence" source, and neither HardwareGrowler nor ControlPlane seem to have a provision for noticing the connection/disconnection of Thunderbolt devices. The company’s signature product, the uKeg, is a pressurized growler with a tap handle for dispensing. Shawn Huff founded GrowlerWerks in 2013 after experiencing the disappointment of beer that had gone flat in a glass growler. I won't miss Growl, given that I haven't used it for. But I'll deeply miss one Growl extra: HardwareGrowler.
